Franciscan Peacemakers ministers directly to victims and perpetrators of violence: women engaged in prostitution, homeless people addicted to drugs and alcohol, parentless children . . . the people of the Beatitudes. The Gospel of Jesus and the lives of Francis and Clare of Assisi are our guides, and our work is supported by a limited number of grants, and generous donations from people like you. Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs in our community to assist those we serve physically, mentally, and spiritually in a non-threatening and non-judgmental manner. Click on any heading for more information about a specific program.

Van Street Ministry

Provides food, counseling, friendship, clothes, prayer and peace to those we serve.

FirstSteps Program

Provides counseling, resources, and a helping hand to women who want to get off the streets.

Street Ministry

Provides emergency assistance with shelter, food, clothing, medical needs, and connections to existing long-term help programs.

Court and Jail Ministry

Provides companionship, supporting the poor during the legal process.
